RE-SCHEDULED TO MARCH 8, 2026

July 20: Transit Metrogaine in the Greater Portland metro area (RE-SCHEDULED for March 8, 2026)

We apologize for the short notice on re-scheduling this July 20, event. We realized that scheduling a long event in the middle of typically hot July wasn't one of our better ideas...

We hope to see you at Skyline Sno-Park on August 31!

Aug 31: Skyline Sno-Park Point-to-Point
(Day 1 of Mt Hood Forest 2-Day)

Join Mt Hood Orienteering (MTHD) on Day 1 of the Mt Hood Forest Two-Day, to be hosted in partnership with Columbia River Orienteering Club (CROC). This will be MTHD's first classic-distance NRE. MTHD will host Day 1 of the competition at Skyline Sno-Park, about 15 minutes drive south of Oregon’s Mt Hood.  CROC will host Day 2 of the competition (also an NRE) at Billy Bob Sno-Park. Registrations for each day are done separately. Register early to take advantage of discounts and reserve your lodging as soon as possible. It'll be Labor Day weekend and hotels and camping sites typically fill up early.

September 28: White River Point-to-Point

The White River East Sno-Park event center is located next to Highway 35 at the southern base of Mt Hood. The event courses are in an area carved out by massive snow melts each year, so much of the environment is composed of many similar drainage ditches in an environment of scattered trees. We will have seven point-to-point courses (something for all skill levels) to choose from.  If you camp overnight, you can spend the previous day hiking around White River West, which has many interesting areas to explore.
